Spring 2014 Village Voices Ends on a High Note.

The first of four Village Voices was held on Thursday, February 20th in Fellowship Hall. Eliot Knight and Kit Cole told an inspiring story about their mission to collect unwanted furniture (and other items) and deliver them to needy New Jersey citizens. The second program was Thursday February 27th at 7:30PM and it was an informative virtual tour of the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  George Fricke, Historian of the church told  fascinating stories about the people buried there. The next presentation in this series was made on March 6th by Ralph Ortega-Maggi, who spoke about his personal experiences in Cuba to over 100 residents. The last presentation was by Faith Heckler about Hetty Green ("The Witch of Wall Street") and Sylvia Green (her daughter). It was held on March 13th in Fellowship Hall at 7:30 PM.  The audience was fascinated by this story about people who have touched our lives in many ways.
